When thinking about exercise, a certain image will spring up in mind…. A young, tan and fit physique individual with sporty workout clothes. This should not be the case, exercise should be for EVERYONE. Exercise can be as simple as walking with loose fitting clothes with a pair of comfortable shoes in your neighbourhood.
Most of us are aware of the many health benefits of exercise. However feeling motivated to exercise and sticking with it can be a challenge. This is especially true for housewife and the elderly. Many find exercising intimidating. Common reasons for not exercise include I don’t have time, I don’t know where to start, I don’t feel there are any exercises I can do or simply I don’t have a pair of sport shoes. Sometimes it may simply seem like there are just too many barriers to physical activities to overcome. You are not alone…

‘Being a typical full time mum, I only started running at the age of 50. My first love is hiking and my husband was into triathlon and he did his first ironman at the age of 57. We were doing road marathons and later introduced by some running buddies into trail running. On top of the benefits of having a vibrant life, we have health that is precious and gain supportive and tight friendship among our peers. The world of sports stretches beyond borders and touches the heart and awarding us with good health. Try it!’
